About
Terms of Use
WordForge Bible Study (wordforgestudy.com, the site) is a free tool for reading Scripture and generating Bible studies. By using it you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose; where they are silent, ordinary law applies.
Last updated 2 September 2026.
1. What the site is, and is not
The site is a study aid. It is not a church, a pastor, a counsellor, a doctor, a lawyer, or a financial adviser, and nothing on it is professional advice of any kind. If you are facing a medical, mental-health, legal, financial or safety decision, talk to a qualified person. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency services.
The site does not replace your own reading of Scripture, the teaching of a local church, or your own judgement. Let Scripture itself settle anything that matters.
2. Scripture, and everything around it
Every Bible verse on the site is the Berean Standard Bible, fetched by reference and quoted word for word; the site never lets an AI write a verse. The Old Testament in the New page also shows Brenton’s 1851 English translation of the Septuagint, fetched the same way and always labelled. Both texts are in the public domain. How this is checked is described on Our Commitment to Accuracy.
Everything else, the studies, breakdowns, summaries, sermon outlines, prayer starters, kids lessons, reference entries and analysis, is written by an artificial-intelligence model or was drafted by one and then checked. It can be wrong. It can misunderstand a passage, state a historical claim too confidently, or reflect an interpretation you or your church would not share. Where a point is disputed among Christians or scholars, the site tries to say so rather than choose for you. Treat all of it as a helpful study aid, not as authority, and check it against the text.
The original-language content (Greek and Hebrew words, transliterations and Strong’s numbers) is the one thing on the site that is not fetched from a source text; it comes from the model’s own knowledge and is marked as such.
3. Using the site
You may use the site for personal study, teaching, preaching, small groups, family devotions and church use, free of charge. You may export, print, copy and share what you generate, with or without credit; a mention of WordForge is appreciated and never required.
You agree not to use the site to generate material that is abusive, unlawful or intended to harm anyone; not to attempt to circumvent the site’s rate limits or access controls; not to scrape or bulk-download generated material by automated means; and not to present the site’s AI-written material as the Bible itself or as the teaching of any church or person who did not write it.
The site may be changed, paused or shut down at any time, and a feature you relied on may be altered or removed. Rate limits exist so that one person cannot exhaust what is offered to everyone.
4. Children
The Kids and Teens section is written to be read by children and is intended to be used with a parent, guardian or teacher. The site collects no personal information from anyone, children included; there are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. The kids pages carry no giving prompt and no links to third-party sites. A parent or guardian remains responsible for supervising a child’s use of the internet, including this site.
5. Ownership
The Berean Standard Bible and Brenton’s Septuagint are public domain and belong to no one. The Berean Bible asks that the following notice accompany its text: The Holy Bible, Berean Standard Bible, BSB is produced in cooperation with Bible Hub, Discovery Bible, OpenBible.com, and the Berean Bible Translation Committee. This text of God’s Word has been dedicated to the public domain.
The site’s own writing, design and code belong to its owner. What you generate with the tools is yours to use as section 3 describes. The Apologetics pages describe other traditions in the site’s own words and cite their sources by reference; they quote nothing from any other tradition’s scripture.
If you believe something on the site infringes a copyright you hold, the site’s owner will take it down or correct it promptly once told which page and what is infringed.
6. Giving
Gifts are voluntary, go through PayPal on PayPal’s own pages, and are used to keep the site running as described on Free, and staying free. WordForge is not a registered nonprofit, so gifts are not tax-deductible and no receipt for tax purposes is provided. Gifts are not refundable except where PayPal’s own policies or the law require it. Nothing on the site changes whether you give or not.
7. Third-party services and links
The site fetches Bible text from a public Bible API, generates material through an AI provider, exports to Google Docs when you ask it to, and links to PayPal for giving. Each of those is run by someone else under their own terms and privacy practices, described on the privacy page. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement of what is there.
8. No warranty
The site is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that AI-written material is correct, complete or suitable for your use. We work hard on accuracy and say exactly how on the accuracy page; that description is what we offer, not a guarantee.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the site’s owner is not liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site or anything generated by it, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid to use the site (which is nothing, since it is free) and ten United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that cannot be resolved by talking will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas. If you use the site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for local law.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top says when they last were. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the change. If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
